TWO NEW PARTNERS APPOINTED AT LOVEWELL BLAKE

Leading regional chartered accountants, business advisers and financial planners Lovewell Blake has announced the appointment of two new partners:  Mary Schofield and Leigh Thurston.

Mary Schofield trained an qualified with one of the big four firms in the Thames Valley.  After spending one year in the industry sector she then returned to a professional firm for a further four years.  After a career break, she joined the tax team at Lovewell Blake in November 2008, specialising in corporation and international tax issues, in particular advising on capital allowances, research and development claims and issues associated with doing business overseas.  She is based between the firm’s Norwich and Lowestoft offices.

Leigh Thurston joined Lovewell Blake as a trainee in 2004.  Initially based at the firm’s Halesworth office, he now splits his time between its Thetford and Ely offices.  He works with a wide variety of clients ranging from private individuals to owner-managed businesses, and has a specialist knowledge of various accounting software packages.  He is treasurer of the Diss Business Forum.
