A Norfolk house builder is offering house hunters the chance to be in a new home by Christmas – as it holds an open weekend at which it will release the last five homes on its smash-hit site in Shipdham.

Oak Meadow, in the centre of the village, was launched by Abel Homes in April last year, and has enjoyed strong demand, with 38 of the 43 new homes already taken.  Now it is releasing the final five homes, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 43 family homes at Shipdham combine traditional exterior designs with the latest contemporary design features and energy-efficient features inside.  The new homes are situated right in the heart of the village, next to the church.

The five homes to be launched during the open weekend, which takes place from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September, are all four-bedroom detached houses with garages.  Prices range from £274,995 to £292,995.

“Oak Meadow has been a real success story, with really strong interest right from the moment we launched the site,” said Abel Homes managing director Tony Abel.  “The combination of a great location at the heart of the village, and traditional designs which incorporate lots of energy-saving features, has proven to be very popular.

“Now we are releasing the last five homes, and it is a question of first-come, first-served during our open weekend.  We are expecting strong interest, so anyone who is considering buying in Shipdham should get there early.”

The open weekend takes place from Friday 26th September to Sunday 28th September, from 10am to 4pm on each day.
