A Norfolk vineyard is offering the ‘perfect’ Mother’s Day combination of a fizz tasting and a cream tea at a special event next month.

Chet Valley Vineyard in Bergh Apton is running its ‘Mother’s Ruin’ event on Saturday 9th March, with a tasting of four of the vineyard’s renowned sparkling wines followed by a cream tea in the winery, overlooking the vines.

As an added extra, each Mum will be able to take home a bottle of one sparkling wine – which they can choose from the four they have tasted.

Tickets for the event cost £75 for two people, to include the tasting, cream tea and a bottle of sparkling wine.  Extra adults can join in the tasting and cream tea for £30 a head.

“What better way to show how much you appreciate your Mum than to treat her to a personal fizz tasting and a cream tea,” said Chet Valley winemaker John Hemmant, who will lead the tasting.

The event takes place on Saturday 9th March from 3pm to 5pm at Chet Valley Vineyard in Bergh Apton.  For more details, and to book, visit www.chetvineyard.co.uk/events
