SPECIAL ‘TWIXMAS’ NORFOLK WINE AND CHEESE PAIRING EVENT TO TAKE PLACE AT LEADING VINEYARD
Wine and cheese lovers are being invited to a special ‘Twixmas’ event which will see wine from one of Norfolk’s leading vineyards paired with cheeses from one of the county’s most famous cheesemakers.
The Chet Valley x Mrs Temple’s Cheese and Wine Pairing Event takes place on Saturday 27th December from 3pm-5pm at Chet Valley Vineyard at Bergh Apton, just south of Norwich.
The two hour tasting will see participants sampling a selection of cheeses from Mrs Temple’s Cheese, each offering its own distinctive character, from creamy and mellow to bold and mature. Served alongside the cheeses will be a flight of Chet Valley Vineyard wines, hand-picked and introduced by winemaker John Hemmant.
“This is an opportunity to discover how aroma, body and flavour profile all elevate the enjoyment of both the wines and the cheeses," said Mr Hemmant.” "This is an experience which will appeal to food lovers, wine enthusiasts and the generally curious.”
The event will conclude with mince pies served with Chet Valley’s Skylark Demi Sec sparkling wine.
Tickets for the event cost £30 and are available at www.chetvineyard.co.uk/events.
