SPECIAL PIZZA EVENING IN THE VINES – SATURDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER
Pizza fans and wine-lovers have the opportunity to indulge both their passions this weekend when one of Norfolk’s leading vineyards plays host to an authentic wood-fired pizza maker.
Chet Valley Vineyard in Bergh Apton is welcoming the Mobile Pizza Company to its wine meadow on Saturday 2nd September. They will be offering a full range of wood-fired pizzas, including vegetarian and vegan options.
With the vineyard’s own Skylark bar serving Chet Valley’s award-wining wines, it’s the perfect opportunity to spend an hour or two sitting among the vines.
“The weather forecast is looking good for Saturday, with sunny spells and temperatures in the 20s,” said Bridget Hemmant of Chet Valley Vineyard.
“The vines are looking wonderful at the moment as the grapes ripen and we approach harvest, so it’s the perfect time to sit amongst them and enjoy a glass or two of last year’s vintage along with some of the best pizza in the county.”
The Chet Valley Vineyard Pizza Evening takes place from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday 2nd September. There is no need to book – simply turn up on the day.
