RARE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN THE WINEMAKER’S SECRETS AT SPECIAL VALENTINE’S BLENDING EVENT

Wine lovers are being offered the chance to make their own unique blend for the special person in their lives at a special Valentine’s Wine Blending event at one of Norfolk’s leading vineyards.
John Hemmant, winemaker at Chet Valley Vineyard, will be leading the two hour session on Saturday 15th February, during which participants will undertake a journey of exploration, learn about the structure of different wines, find out the secrets of successful blending – and have the chance to create their own special blend.
The event will also include a tasting of a selection of the vineyard’s still and sparkling wines.
“This is a rare opportunity to find out the secrets of the winemaker’s art,” said Mr Hemmant. “People will be able to experiment with different flavours so they can find the right balance of fruit, acidity, sweetness and body, so that they can create their own unique blend just to celebrate the Valentine’s weekend.
“This is something couples can do together, but we also welcome people coming on their own – who knows, you might meet a fellow wine-lover and hit it off!”
The event, which takes place on Saturday 15th February from 2pm-4pm costs £28 per person or £50 a couple.
