NORFOLK HOUSE BUILDER LAUNCHES LATEST SITE IN BAWDESWELL

8th Nov 2019
Bawdeswell Street View Plot 25 30

The newest site from Norfolk-based house builder Abel Homes is launched this weekend, with the first 12 of 40 new energy-efficient homes being released for sale.

Bluebell Rise is a development of 40 family homes  in the village of Bawdeswell.  The show home will open on Saturday 9th November, with the first homes released for sale the same day.

All of the new homes will boast the top ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency, with features such as photo-voltaic solar panels, air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, triple glazing and high levels of insulation.

Each home will have ‘fibre to the premises’ broadband, making it ready for the online connected lives that today’s families lead.  In addition, each home includes underfloor heating to the ground floor, floor coverings throughout, and integrated kitchen appliances including dishwashers and fridge-freezers as standard.

As part of the development, Abel Homes will create two areas of  public open space on the site, and has also made a commitment to provide a piece of public artwork on every site where it builds homes.

A selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, as well as three-bedroom chalets, will be available to reserve this weekend with prices starting from £207,500.  Qualifying buyers will be able to make use of the government’s Help To Buy scheme.

Two of the new roads on the site will be named after two RAF airmen who died when a Mosquito aircraft from 608 Squadron crashed into the village church on its return from a raid in Germany in November 1944.  Melvin Tansley Drive and James McClean Loke will commemorate the two airmen.

The show home at Bluebell Rise, off Hall Road behind the Bawdeswell Garden Centre, will be open this Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 10am-4pm.  More details about Bluebell Rise are available at www.abelhomes.co.uk.
