Nearly 200 Norfolk based estate agents took time out from their offices to get up to speed with the latest developments in the profession during the annual Norwich and District Association of Estate Agents training day, held at the Maids Head Hotel in Norwich.

Leading industry experts gave a series of presentations aimed at making sure our local agents are right at the top of their game, with sales and marketing, finance, legal matters and HR management all covered.

Hosted by Jan Hÿtch, operations partner at Arnolds Keys, on behalf of the Norwich and District Association of Estate Agents, speakers included leading national property training expert Tim Wakelin, Clare Goodswen from Norwich accountants M+A Partners, Propertymark (NAEA) chief executive Mark Hayward, Arnolds Keys marketing manager Tanya Chapman, and HR expert Tom King from GCB Agency Recruitment.

“It is so important to take time out to refresh our skills and ensure we are up to speed with not just the swiftly changing legislation changes in estate agency and lettings, but also the latest thinking in marketing and promotion of homes for sale and for rent.” said Jan Hÿtch.

“By running this collaborative industry training day, we were able to attract some of the UK’s foremost experts to give us the benefit of their knowledge and experience, and hopefully that will lead to both sellers and buyers across the county receiving the very best service from their local Norwich and District Association of Estate Agents member firms.”
