MUCH-ANTICIPATED NEW SITE AT TAVERHAM LAUNCHED BY ABEL HOMES

12th Oct 2020
Abel Homes Taursham Park 3

The much-anticipated launch of Norfolk house builder Abel Homes’ latest site takes place this weekend, when the sales office at Taursham Park in Taverham opens its doors on a strictly by appointment only basis.

Twelve two-, three- and four-bedroom houses will make up the initial release on a site which will eventually see 93 new family homes built on the site, which is at the junction of Beech Avenue and Ringland Road.

Over 900 people have already registered an interest in new homes on the site, which will also include three public open green spaces, and a wooded area with woodland walk.

All of the new homes are being built to a very high specification of energy-efficiency, with solar photovoltaic panels, triple glazing and underfloor heating to the ground floor.  Each new home will boast an EPC rating of ‘A’ – the most energy-efficient band.

The new homes will also come with fitted ‘A’ rate appliances, garages with electric doors, BT fibre broadband to the premises, and floor coverings included throughout.

“There has been huge interest from potential buyers in our Taverham site, so we are expecting high levels of demand when we open the sales office this weekend – so we are operating strictly by appointment only,” said Clare Cornish, sales manager at Abel Homes.

“Taverham is justifiably a very sought-after place to live, with a vibrant sense of community, easy access to the city centre, and yet lovely countryside adjacent to the village.”

Taursham is the name Taverham was recorded as in the Domesday Book.

Prices for the initial release of 12 homes range from £235,000 for a two-bed semi-detached house to £495,000 for a detached four-bed house.

To ensure buyers can view in safety, the sales office and show home will be open by appointment only from Friday 16th October.  Appointments can be made by calling 01953 884486.
