An iconic Norwich city-centre office building – once the home of the Eastern Daily Press – is being let following a major refurbishment to create some of the highest standard office accommodation in the city.

Four office suites totalling 21,794 sq ft are being marketed at Lawrence House on St Andrew’s Hill.  The impressive air-conditioned open-plan suites, which range in size from 3,678 sq ft to 7,853 sq ft, are on the ground, first and second floors of the five storey building.

Other office suites in Lawrence house are already occupied by a variety of professional organisations, including Cooper Lomaz Recruitment, Isodore Goldman Solicitors and the Norfolk Pension Fund.

The building is being marketed by joint sole agents Arnolds Keys and Bidwells.  Robert Flint, head of commercial agency at Arnolds Keys, commented, “This is a rare opportunity for businesses to occupy top-quality, completely refurbished offices right in the city centre.

“We have seen much office accommodation in the city centre converted to residential under Permitted Development Rights over the past few years, so it is refreshing to see the London-based owner of Lawrence House investing in a thorough refurbishment to create high quality office space in the city.

“The large ground floor suite, which has its own entrance on St Andrew’s Street, offers one of the few opportunities in Norwich for occupiers to secure such a large office on a single floor.

“The coming to market of Lawrence house is a sign of continuing buoyancy in the Norwich office market, and we expect demand to be strong.”
