ACCOUNTANCY FIRM APPOINTS TAX DIRECTOR

Leading chartered accountancy firm Lovewell Blake has appointed Michael Morter to the post of Tax Director, providing tax advice and tax planning to individuals and business owners.

A member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CTA) and the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), Mr Morter has 25 years’ experience, working for two other regional accountancy firms.

Welcoming Mr Morter, Lovewell Blake Partner Mary Schofield said, “Michael brings a wealth of experience and tax knowledge to the firm, and the creation of this new post will strengthen our tax team and give greater depth to the advice we offer to our clients.”

Mr Morter added, “Recent years have brought with them significant changes to the tax system, particularly for wealth and assets, and I look forward to helping our clients navigate these changes and find solutions that work for them, their business and their family.
